Barn in the Bend: Bryan and Laura
The barn in the bend has been my favorite wedding venue here lately, and that's likely because of how much I have been shooting there lately! Jackie is the absolute sweetest, and the coordinator, Corrine, is so great!
When I found out that Bryan and Laura were getting married at Barn in the Bend, it got me all kinds of excited! And this wouldn't be my first time shooting the two of them here, but this time they were the stars!
I had my first run-in with Bryan and Laura when I was shooting Chris and Sarah's wedding in 2016, and as it was, they were in each others wedding!
It wasn't long after their wedding that Laura contacted me on Facebook telling me how much she loved the photos and she wanted to go ahead and book me as their photographer, even before they were engaged! (I was a little flattered!)
We've had several great moments together, and some even a little frightening during their engagement session (you know what I'm talking about Laura!).
So when it came time for their session, I was a little more than excited. So excited, I just knew they had to have a second photographer, so I brought my good friend Lindsay along with me!
(Quick note: Lindsay has been such a great friend and photographer with me that we're working on a little something we're both incredibly excited about!)
When we arrived, I met Laura in the Bride's quarters and was met with the biggest hug! If you take the time to notice how great her hair and makeup is, that's her doing it herself! She's kind of a professional.

After visiting her and introducing her to Lindsay, I met with Bryan and caught him and his guys watching the Tennessee Vols play. Though I'm unsure why someone would set themselves up for disappointment on their wedding day! (;
He was excited, nervous, anxious, and so on. It was evident he was the emotional one of the day!
Fast forward through some amazing photos, and we get to the World's fastest Ceremony! I mean blazin' fast! As Laura said, "I spent a year and a half planning this wedding, and I'm just ready to be married!" It was wonderful!
As fast as the wedding was, there was nothing missing from it that you would get from a longer ceremony. The joy on Bryan's face when he saw Laura for the first time was reason enough for me to do what it is I do!
A "Do You?" "Yes," "Do You?" "Yes," later, and the two became a married pair!
Bryan and Laura, your wedding was so exciting again, and it has me wanting to convince you to get married all over just so we can do this again! (;
You two are great, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in hold for you.
(A Special thanks to Lindsay for capturing this one! I really do love the weddings I shoot!)
A special thanks to the vendors who helped make this wedding happen:
